Funeral receptions and wakes

Funeral receptions, or wakes, give mourners the opportunity to express their condolences to the next of kin, exchange individual anecdotes and share fond memories of the deceased. It is a time to reflect and speak fondly of the deceased in a relaxed and personal manner.

Such events can be held at the family home but, as most people find this very stressful, they are most often held at a public venue.

It is always reassuring to use an established, local and professional service. Worthing Borough Council is proud to offer two beautiful venues.
